Terms of Service

Last updated: June 21, 2026

Welcome to Coachly (the “Service”), operated by Porter Media (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Coachly.

1. The Service

Coachly is a web application for designing practice drills, building practice plans, managing rosters, and related coaching tools. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Each team includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
  • After the trial, continued use of paid features requires a subscription: $6/month (or $59/year) per team, plus $2/month (or $19/year) for each additional coach seat. Prices are in USD and may change with notice.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your team’s billing page or the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we’ll review it in good faith.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the drills, plans, rosters, and other content you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to breach security or access other users’ data; uploading unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; scraping or overloading the Service; or reselling access without our permission.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service itself—software, design, branding, and shared library content we provide—belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own backups of anything critical.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
